The “Little Joe by Gail Elliott” label was born in the Hamptons of New York on November 2nd 2002.

Gail’s hectic travel schedule and demanding work days have always been soothed by the feel of her clothes, elegant salted baths and scented candles. Simple, clear elements that kept her connected to her wonderful life.

Her inspiration for ‘Little Joe by Gail Elliott” came out of her experience as a well traveled model. She recalls checking into hotels tired and jet lagged, and wanting only “to take a bath, change into comfortable clothes and order room service.” The clothing she found
available was either tooflimsy, too short

and overtly sexy – clothing that would definitely give the room service guy the wrong idea! The alternatives however were conservative, clumsy and
comfortable in the wrong way.

And so Little Joe by Gail Elliott was
born – The line launched as a range of beautiful, flattering slips and camisoles that served not only as clothing to lounge and sleep in but could be worn out as well.

The collection was a big hit, and Gail expanded the direction of the line to give her customer a broader range of styles. From sumptuous silk and cotton dresses, tops and skirts, to knitwear in cashmere and fine wools, a woman can now create an entire wardrobe from the

Little Joe by Gail Elliott line or add a few new pieces to update it. Elliott always designs with herself and her friends in mind.
